Thread Fusion

Following is another piece that I created for my Thread Fusion demo that I did for the longarm group at Trackside Quilting in May.

It is a peacock feather.

I turned this in for the Community Quilts committee of the Quilt By Association guild.

Exchange Blocks

I finished this round of Modern Quilting group block exchange through Four Winds Quilting this month with these two blocks:

 

 

I think the exclamation points were really cool.  The requestor made up the pattern, or wonky cutting pattern, by herself.  I don't know if she saw the pattern in a book or made it up on her own completely.

The other block was Cogswheel by Cheryl Wittmayer.

I get to present in September for a block to be created for me.  I guess I better start writing the directions.
