Father's Day Gift - #26 June

I created the following wall hanging for Dale for Father's Day.  I did not have it completed for Father's Day this year but I did have it completed for the memory quilt challenge for the Town & Country quilt guild in Joliet in July.

I printed the pictures using a laser printer on fabric.  This is the first time I have printed on fabric.  I will have to do more tests on printing with a laser printer to see how it stands up and if it is possible to wash the printed fabric.

I had Keegan & Dillon draw with markers on little pieces of fabric.  Keegan did a really great job.  He wrote his name and the date.  Keegan also drew pictures like a tree.  Dillon had colored greeting cards before I presented him with the fabric so Dillon did not do much coloring on fabric.

Dillon & Keegan painted on canvas with acrylic paint.  A few days later, I helped them put their footprints and handprints on the painted canvas.

Part of the Town & Country guild's memory quilt challenge was to have embellishments on the item.  I did not know what the guild was using as their definition of embellishment so I also used yarn to create a heart on the lower right corner.  I used the quilting machine to sew the yarn heart on the wall hanging.

Dale has this wall hanging at work.
