At the February meeting of We of Artistic Vision, we were supposed to create something neutral. I created an off white crumb background. Then I quilted three sea shells on top. I do not feel that the quilting is dark enough.
One of the comments from the group was that the gray strip in the sand dollar on the right hand side was too stark. I am supposed to paint the shells off white to make them defined and to make that gray line go away.
The next project for April WAV is to create separate shells using different techniques.
