I won second place in the Small Quilts category. I was later told that it should have been in the Art Quilts category. That was very nice of Nancy R. to say that. When I was filling out the entry form, I was doing it quickly and just looking at the size. I forgot to take anything else into consideration - like original design.
Dillon also entered a quilt. He called it Purple Mountains. I entered a picture with his description. Because of the picture of Dillon at the quilting machine, Dillon won third place in the Youth category.
Dillon quilting Purple Mountains.
Keegan also entered a quilt in the Town & Country Quilt Show at the Red Lodge Civic Center. His quilt was really small. I believe it was in a difficult place to see. I did not even see it the first time I went through the quilt show. I had to go back again to make sure I found his quilt to view. Keegan did not win a ribbon.
I worked at the Trackside Quilting booth some of the time during the Town & Country Quilt Show. Sue H. was also nice enough to let us stay at Lions Camp during the show. It was pretty fun for the boys too.
