Janet's Quilts

Kathy T. and her sister, Karen D. in TX, asked me to quilt and bind three quilts their mother, Janet D., had created before she passed away.  Janet passed away in February 2017.  Somehow, Karen knew of an orange quilt that her Mom had created.  When Kathy brought the orange quilt over, she gave me another box and stated that she thought there was a partially finished quilt in the extra box.  Turns out, the other box had two quilt tops ready to go with backing and binding created.

This quilt now lives with Karen in Texas:

When I first looked in the boxes, I thought there was enough fabric to create some table runners or table toppers or a little quilted item for the 3 grandchildren.  But upon final review in December, I saw that was not the case.
