Row By Row

Linda J.'s exchange was the row I received this month.  The suggestion in the paperwork was to use orphan blocks to make a row.  I have been using all of my orphan blocks in the backings of my quilts.  I did not have any of my own orphan blocks.  Thankfully, I had orphan blocks in Iretta H.'s fabric that I collected last fall.  I had to take apart a row that was partially completed then insert yellow between the sections to complete my row.

The row on top is Linda's row.  The row on the bottom is my row that I completed using Iretta's orphan blocks.

Row by row and other exchanges do get me out of my comfort zone.
