Tribal Heart - #22 - February

I wanted to do a heart something for my fellers.  I had the idea of scraps sewn crazy on the bottom with a heart with a spiral on the inside on top.  When I did a search on the internet, I found Tribal Heart.  I liked the way it looked even better than my spiral idea.

Keegan claims his favorite color is purple so he received this heart:

Dillon received the yellow heart:

I started with Dillon's heart - the yellow heart.  I used the sewing machine to applique stitch around the yellow.  Then I realized that was unnecessary.  I was quilting so densely that I did not need to applique too.

I have an orange heart for me waiting to be quilted.
